Hello for several technical reasons I have to stay on version Virtuemart 3.8.9 10514 and Joomla 3.x.

Do you know if I can update the Paypal plugin from version 3.8.9 to version 4.2.0 without this causing problems?
If so, do I have to go through Virtuemart AIO or can I use the Joomla update manager?
