Title: Bugs after updating from older versions
Post by: Kuubs on April 03, 2022, 12:48:14 PM
Hello,

Are there any issues known when a Virtuemart installation is updated from very low versions to the latest?

I am running low on ideas why certain areas of my webshop are acting weird. For example canceling a payment and coming back to the page, completing an order and immediately ordering new products and then instead of creating a new order it updates the previous order... It seems to me that my installation is riddled with bugs and I was wondering if that maybe could be due to a very old installation, that has updated throughout the years (!), is that possible?

try reuseorders=0 in VM cfg file

then save config and test

It should prevent VM to reuse a pending order.

Hahaha, Sorcery. Great :-) Thank you, I invented it.
