Hi,

We have a website in 4 languages. We have menu-items pointing to several categories. The articles in VM are all translated. If I'm on an article page in -let's say- english, and then choose to change the language (by using the language selection module), the website jumps back to the article overview page instead of staying on the same page of that article. Is this happening because there are only menu-items with category views? I would want to stay on the same page when changing the language. Is there any way of solving this?

This has Been an issue. What is your current Joomla, VM and PHP version?
I use a language switcher from Studio42.
This works as expected.

Thanks for the reply. The site is on joomla 3.9.15/VM 3.6.10/PHP 7.3.14

I'll take a look at the studio42 language switcher.
