Hi,
When clicking in the product name from the order email confirmation that arrives to the purchaser, it takes me to the home page and it is showing the product down... almost in the footer. You can see that by clicking here:
https://www.cyclingsportswear.es/index.php?option=com_virtuemart&view=productdetails&virtuemart_category_id=120&virtuemart_product_id=938&Itemid=507
And also, the URL is not friendly...
How can I fix that?
My version is:
Joomla! 3.6.5
VirtueMart 3.0.9
Thank you,
Lucia

VirtueMart 3.0.9
That version is very old (2 years), was a test/development version, and is known to be insecure. I suggest you test a current version on a backup copy of your site to see if that fixes your problem. See http://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=136826.0 - if using template overrides you may need to edit those.

Hi,
Thanks for your prompt response. I update the virtuemart version to 3.0.18 and something wrong happened, a message appears saying "Invalid extension update".
On the other hand, the website is malfunctioning... check it here: https://www.cyclingsportswear.es/
Any suggestion?
Thank you,
Lucia
Well it says that Joomla can't connect to your database...
These are the details that are set in your Joomla configuration.php but no VM update would change this.. what exactly have you done?
You obviously didn't follow this advice->
QuoteI suggest you test a current version on a backup copy of your site to see if that fixes your problem.
The error "Invalid extension update" suggests that you tried to use Joomla's auto-updater. There could be problems with that when trying to update such an old version, getting the file packaes first and then using Joomla's Install manager would be a better option. All files are available from http://dev.virtuemart.net/projects/virtuemart/files
As GJC says, the site error "Error displaying the error page: Application Instantiation Error: Could not connect to MySQL." suggests some other issue, unrelated to VM. You should revert to your last site backup.
But why, why try to update a live site.....
