Hi,
Emails are not working to vendor when a customer places an order. When a customer registers the registration email is received. Thus the sites email is functioning just not emails from virtuemart. Any thoughts as to where I have an error. Config of emails attached.
Invoices are generated? Why do you generate for any order status an invoice? That is definitly wrong.

Hi, I upgraded the site, however I (the vendor) am still not receiving emails from customers who order. I can see new orders have been placed however.
Is the shopper receiving order emails? Are invoices being generated?
No, it seems nobody is receiving the email.
It sends an email if we manually go in an update the status to shipped, however I would expect that the shopper would receive an email confirming what they had placed as an order automatically and the vendor would receive an email saying what is ordered ( which then could be married with say bank or paypal confirmation).
So the fact it sends emails correctly on updating status must mean I have a configuration setting wrong or not set it up correctly.
As discussed many times on here .. there are no emails for a Pending order -- haven't been for many versions now
