Title: Cart / Order Summary missing items and prices

VirtueMart issue on the chart/order summary.  This is the page that appears when you select "Show Cart" where items should appear on an order/invoice style page listing item / price / Qty.  Since the latest Joomla update and the latest VM updates the items no longer appear on this page consistently.  it's literally blank hence no order can be completed to payment.

Joomla! 3.5.1 -> vm3.0.16

then test again

not adding to cart is normally a JS error or out of date template

I did see the recommendation to VM 3.0.16 yet i also see others state this is not stable and includes other bugs... 
Am i trading one bug fix for new bugs??

unless you've applied the hack to shopfunctionsf.php on your earlier VM you can't checkout anyway...
