I am looking for an extension with the ability to convert a product to bookable. My goal is to have some products of kind bookable for example for restaurants or hotels.
Is that possible?

There are plenty of Joomla extensions for exactly this...
I had already some demande for this, but it's a long task to do a booking plugin or component using Virtuemart.
I have already do a auction plugin and needed more then 1 week to do it(the customer needed many options).
I think for a booking system for VM, you need more then 1 week too. So this is only a choice, if you want absolutly use VM because you have not another choice.
