Title: Virtuemart cache issue
Post by: bhoomikasethi on January 28, 2016, 13:14:21 PM
Hi there!

J: 3.4.8
VM: 3.0.12
PHP: 5.4.45
MySQL: 5.5.47

I've disabled cache from joomla global config, and testing the shopping site in private window, still product pages needs to refresh for the recent update. If I'm adding a product to cart its updating the cart on shopping cart module of VM but when I go to cart page it needs to refresh, otherwise its showing the previous products.
Website cache is off, No product cookies, and entire site is on SSL and SSL settings of virtuemart are turned on.
PS: also tested with ssl setting off in global config and VM config.

I couldn't find the cause of it.  VM's storing the default cache files for products and categories and rss.

If you use a third party 'One Page Checkout', check if you get the same behavior with the original VM checkout. Also you can check if the same happens when using the Beez template.

As the ONLY cache that is not able to be switched off is VM cats and rss
