Being new to this and working with an installation I did not perform, I am often referred to "phpMyAdmin" to make changes. Where do I find that using Joomla! 3.4.8 and VM 3.0.12. Thanks!

That's on the Hosting's console if you use CPanel or Plesk. You must contact your hosting provider to get access to the hosting's control panel and you can reach phpmysdmin
