My clients website is not sending emails to her, or to the user once an order is placed.
I have confirmed that the settings are all set to email the invoices etc, but after testing, I can confirm that nothing is being sent.

Usually the system allows me to check out, but with debug on, it doesn't allow me to.
In terms of the configurations, I can't see anything that's wrong.
I have checked that PHP mailer is on and the settings are correct.
Anything else I can try to resolve this or the client?
do they send if you manually toggle he order between pending and confirmed?
So I toggled an order to confirmed and I got an error at the top of the page

vmError: Warning extension of the image is a png, tpcdf has problems with that in the header, choose a jpg or gif
I also got a message saying: 1 order(s) have been updated
And yes, as soon as I toggle the order to confirmed, the email IS sent :)

and did you? it refers to your shop logo
Yes. But still no emails are being sent, unless the status is changed in the backend manually.
and are the orders set to "Confirmed" when they pay and you expect an email?
The orders are NOT changing to "confirmed" when a payment method is selected when they check out.
Is there a way that I can change this?
Which version do you use?

both your versions are out of date and unsafe.. esp. your joomla .. test on a clone
