Title: Error emails being sent to customers - error with your payment authorizenet

Joomla 3.4.1
VM 3.0.8

Upgraded Joomla and VM 2 months ago. Last week 2 customers received the following email:

"Hello,

An error with your payment method authorizenet on your store GeoInsight. The details are logged in the file authorizenet.1.log.php

The VirtueMart Team"

Thing is, neither one had ordered anything since 2013. Is there any way I can simply shut off the error emails? I'm afraid its somehow going down a queue of every customer who had problems over the past 2 years.
