Title: Sort special fields drop down options

Hi,

I was wondering if there's a possibility to automatically (or programmatically) sort the drop down values of a special field select option. I'm using VirtueMart 3.0.7. I want to sort the option alphabetically from A to Z.

Hope someone can help me out or point me in the right direction. It is not possible to sort the values from the back-end.
