I have set up a Paypal redirect as the last step in my VirtueMart checkout procedure. It goes to Paypal just fine but the return link to my website from the Paypal page is not working properly. I get a white page with no content, and I do not understand how to change the referring URL so that the redirect returns to my website's home page. I am at a beginner level and am using JOOMLA 2.5 and VirtueMart 2.6.6 to develop my site.
1. vm2.6.6 is totally out of date - upgrade with all normal warnings to 2.6.18
why aren't you using the standard paypal payment plugin?
I have the same issue. Updated Paypal (Joomla 2.5.17 / WM 2.6.4) and now there is no redirect and the customer and we don't get any order confirmation. How can I delete this update? Updating WM is not possible - it would take days to rebuild all the changes.
Any changes made should have been by using template/css overrides. Then they don't get overwritten during upgrades.

just delete the plugin and re-install the old one (extract from the AOI)
Thanks for the reply GJC Web Design, I will update/upgrade to 2.6.18, and possibly update to 3.0.8. I am using the core paypal plug-in. Will see what the redirect situation looks like after updating. Also, I have been slowing developing this site and in the midst got hacked and had to put things back together, which could have possibly led to this problem.
