We built a website some time ago used VM 2.0.26d. We cannot upgrade it however as we had custom development built. So we are "stuck" on this version.
Recently though, we had a user try to place an order using Safari 8.0.2 and they are saying they are cannot add products to the cart. They click the button and it says the item was added however it does not actually go into the cart.
I was wondering if there were any known incompatibilities between Virtumart 2.x with the new version of Mac OS and Safari? We have tested with a Mac with Safari 7.x and it works fine. Basically, we would like to know if we have to do an upgrade at this point, or if there are known issues even if we did an upgrade? Has the new Mac been tested on both VM 3 and 2? Thank you.
Hello?
Hello?
why? You ask questions you can easily answer yourself -- try the demo on safari 8 -- why do you want someone else to do testing for you?
As no one answered you can assume the answer is either no - there are no problems or - no one has reported problems.. or - no one has discovered a problem
I would prefer if in in your position to do the actual testing myself so I know the answer...
And in any case I doubt if anyone would still have a live 2.0.26d site for testing as any version before 2.6.10 has critical security issues.

I thought I had mentioned but I see I did not... I do not have access to a Mac computer. So in reality, I assume I have to upgrade, but I was wondering if the last version of the 2.x series has any known issues using Safari browser on a Mac computer?
We have tested it ourselves using Windows Safari and things work fine, so if there is an issue (and it is not this particular client) then it is happening on a Mac only or not at all
Also: I purposely made my first post short in hopes of eliciting answers because they tend to be very hard to come by in these forums. So thank you both very much for your time and replies
if no Mac access -> http://www.browserstack.com/ ?
Alatak, one of the main developers works on a mac, so I doubt there is a problem. But actually we discussed that today, because it is the same error with IE8. Maybe you have also a very old MacOS?
