Title: Virtuemart and Joomla Template BS3 not fully integrated
Post by: john-doe on February 21, 2015, 16:58:32 PM
Greetings

I'm having a problem with my virtuemart on my site where it has a template for joomla 2.5 (upgradeable to 3.x) buitl on bootstrap 3.

Currently my site is joomla 2.5.19 and Virtuemart 2.6.6. I have it on this state since i need to solve this issue of templating prior to upgrade VM to 3 Before to upgrade the site to Joomla 3.3.6; the process of upgrading has eneded in failure but this is not the point of this post.

The problem i'm experimenting is that i see that i have a Jquery conflict between my Bootstrap's libraries vas the Virtuemart Libraries. I have installed Jquery Easy.

When i have disabled Jquery easy, it loads Jquery's Invoked by Bootsrap 3 which allows me to have deployable menus and a modal window but when i want to do a purchase at the moment to do add to cart it doesnt show me any notice, so if i click several times it goes adding to the cart one click at a time.

Once i enable Jquery Easy, the Bootstrap's Jquery invoked is gone, i recover the modals for the add to cart action but i lose the modal i have and the deployable menus. This is the current state of the site since i wanted to do priority on the purchases.

I switched all the versions of Jquery available on Jquery easy with no success in integrating both features.

The site is
www.lipoillusion.com

I appreciate all the help you can bring me.
Thanks in advance

it is a mis-match between your template and VM/J3 -

You need to study the std. VM templates and your templates for VM views and find the problem there
