Title: Problem installing VM 3
Post by: massimo on February 12, 2015, 12:48:50 PM
Please I need an Help with the installation of VM3 on J2.5.28 - PHP 5.3.29 - MySql 5.5.40
I'm doing an installation but it gave me an error, and I got this (see the picture)
I can see the VM tables in the database and VM isn't installed .
This is the first time I have a problem like this.
I cannot uninstall the broken installation, I deleted the tables from the DB and the cache from Joomla, but the VM  "broken" menus are there.
Same with VM2.6.14-
Thank you for your help,
Massimo

It is a clean install of VM 3.0.4 on joomla 2.5.28 - PHP 5.3.29 - MySql 5.5.40
Joomla is a gavick pro quickstart solution with already other components as: aicontactsafe, attachment, JCE, K2, SobiPro.

How can this be a clean install when you already have a Gavik quickstart there??  That's not clean!

clean is install Joomla - then VM - then the Gavik template -- see where you are then

after receiving help I would have thought a full explanation of how you fixed it would add to the sum of knowledge on here?

Or will we not see you till your next problem?

It was an old installation of virtuemart on joomla, I just delete language files and clean db table extensions, menu and assets and it works!
Thank you for your support.
