Title: What's wrong with sorting manufacturers in backend?

Hello!
Joomla 2.5.24, VM 2.6.10

Backend - VM - Manufacturers.

I create producers not in alphabetical order. I thought that they would be in alphabetical order, but no. Plz tell why?

The manufacturer "ASTER CUCINE" should be in first place, but it's not happening. :(

Click on the little triangular icon next to the title of the Manufacturer Name coumn. That sorts them for me.
