The epay payment gateway appears to have been broken. We are using Joomla 3.3.1 and VM 2.9.8.
One obvious bug appears to be that no config fields appears in the backend. I have tried to fix this my self, but are unsure how the structure of the plugins xml file should look like in the new version. Is there any documentation that could point me in the right direction?
Best
Tobias
vm2.6.8 ? I think you mean vm2.9.8,.... epay is not part of the core. We also mentioned in the news that the payments are ported, but not completly tested.
2.9.8 ofcause - type error :)
I know that epay is not part of the core which is why I tried to port it myself. But porting it without any documentation is quite a job :-\ Is there no place to see how payment plugins should be designed to fit with the new version?
There is a link to the documentation http://virtuemart.net/news/latest-news/460-updates-about-virtuemart-3-support-membership, respectivly http://docs.virtuemart.net/tutorials/
Thank - I will give that a shot.

If you check the page (http://www.losangelespersonalinjurylawyers.co/slip-and-fall-attorney/), you will see that it is much easier than we originally thought. But porting it without any documentation is quite a job :-\ Is there no place to see how payment plugins should be designed to fit with the new version?
Hello,
I also want to do the same thing with epay. Is this something simple that can be done by someone who knows how to use a computer but with zero programming knowledge?
Basically compare the xml to a Joomla 3 xml and use it's schema..
in the php file some changes may be nesscesary as well .....
But I would say you need coding skills..
I wrote Epay and they will make a plugin, but not until a final version hits the streets.
They can also give us the job todo it
I will tell them that when the final version comes out :)
There is no reason to wait. The vm2 payments also work mainly in vm3.
