Post by: fgozar on May 22, 2014, 13:47:35 PM
Hi,
I'm java developer and from few time I'm also work with php and joomla/virtuemart.
There is an high level documentation and analysis of virtuemart core class or documentation for table field use?
There is document or roadmap of virtuemart improvement?
How can I submit my change of Virtuemart core class?
Do you have think to use git as repository?

Using virtuemart i found some issue that i would like try to fix.

Es.
Captcha before "Ask a questions" (Just fix it but required core class modification)
Availability don't show when i use stockable variants plugin (I'm working on this)

Improvement:
- Minimun order quantity defined by group cllient
- Priority group definition when user is in 2 or more groups (  this for detect right rules to apply for price other metrics of the product)
- Dynamic number of variant for "stockable variants plugin" ( not only 4).
- Auto generate child variant based on cartesian combination of variant when use stockable variants plugin
- Update product quantity of child  from parent details view.

Hi,
I know these resources, of course, before you ask, I looked at the website and related links.

Each project requires a learning curve for new developers, improve documentation, definitely make it more accessible to lower the curve and have more resources ready in hurries and more available to grow the project.

I was hoping for something more. More descriptive, more fresh, more structural.

I will consult again wiki and this forum.
Every other resource will be appreciate.

Thank you very much.
