The ordering by price, or creation date is not working anymore inside category after update to 2.6.0 and also in latest update 2.6.0a
The category id is not take anymore. Do I need to update template ?

no, it is not template related. Please use the vm2.6.1, go in the config, select your ordering again and store it. There was a small error for featured and created on.

The system doesn't alert me about a 2.6.1 version available and on http://www.virtuemart.net/downloads takes up to 2.6.0a

http://dev.virtuemart.net/projects/virtuemart/files , we are going to release it as vm2.6.2 soon. The vm2.6.0.a got too much changes in the last week. There is some trouble with the language in some cases.

It didn't solve the problem anyway. From a category , ordering product by price, retrieve all products again

This is normal, because you have an inofficial version. We will remove the liveupdater. It did not solve the problem? Did you check your config?
Hello yes it didn't solve. And also it seems it's generating a very large amount of errors , I have server now constantly in overload and website very slow now ( http://www.modacalcio.it to check it by yourself )
I can't do a deep check for now, but I will need to this by monday when back in office, with all tools needed
