I don't know why but if the customer doesn't click in the square "Please read and accept the terms of service" the purchase continue and don't shows an error or something. Why is that? I'm using virtuemart 2.6 and joomla 2.5
Check on "Must agree to Terms of Service on EVERY ORDER" in VM configuration -> Checkout.

Hey, I have the very same issue with fresh untouched J! 2.5.24 and VM 2.6.10. Seems that TOD checkbox doesn't gets validated in registration and checkoput, even with options "Terms of Service on EVERY ORDER?" and "Show Terms of Service on the cart/checkout?" options checked at VM config page
I just come back on this forum to post the same issue and see some of you have the same problem.
