Hi All
Hoping someone can help.
Had an issue where someone clicked the upgrade button last week and as usual it gave an error 500 when trying to use that, but looks like some of the files got overwritten.
I reinstalled 2.0.26d and seems to have corrected some of the issues. the update button now says 'UPDATE FOUND! CLICK TO UPDATE. 2.0.26d' instead of @UPDATE FOUND! CLICK TO UPDATE. 2.6.0' it did before.
But my main issue I have is any new menu items I create are getting 'com-virtuemart-menu-report/com-virtuemart-menu-report' when using J!'s standard SEF URLs
any existing menu items are unaffected.
If I want a link as www.mysite.com/thispage.html its being set as www.mysite.com/com-virtuemart-menu-report/com-virtuemart-menu-report/thispage.html and the correct url gives the standard 404 error.
If I click 'rebuild' after everytime I have created the new menu Items, it fixes the issue. :-S
Thanks in advance.
There are new files in 2.6.0 that if they did start to install will be still there (they don't exist in 2.0.26)
re-installing 2.0.26 won't have deleted them
what if you back up and then install 2.6.0 by the joomla installer?
Don't forget the AIO - it has new classes as well that depend on the new 2.6.0 files
This worked for me when I tested some live updates to 2.6.0 (which of course failed)
