Yes, I first disabled Akeeba and empty the tmp file. Cleared the cache. Then update VM via the Joomla installer. Still the message: Invalid Token, in store config... ???
Joomla 2.5.16
VM 2.0.24c
Any ideas? Kind regards, Jimmie
No one any idea? I can install other modules (ccvoam) but not VM 2.0.26 ??? Still the message: Invalid Token, in store config. My provider cleared the cache on the server, no results. Which professional has any idea?
I'm not shure if this helps in your case, but from my experience I think in most cases 'invalid token' messages are related to cache settings, expired sessions or logins.
So I would recommend to disable Joomla cache, clear all cache, purge expired cache and eventually log out and login once again. Maybe you should also increase your session life time in Joomla Configuration.

I had a similar issue and I concur with jjk that this is a local caching issue.
Simply use the 'Back' button on your browser and you should see that the upgrade.
However, I think you'll find that there is an issue with directly upgrading from 2.0.24c - to 2.0.26 - see this post for the workaround http://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=121160.msg413309#msg413309
