I know this question has sort of been asked but I have not found an answer that works. Some people have also asked why you would want to do this. The answer is my vendor has a MAP policy that does not allow me to show prices below MAP on the main page. If the customer clicks a button then I can show them the price or I can show it in the shopping cart. I would like to be able to show it to them in the facebox window so they don't have to go to the cart to see the price. Now, I thought I had this worked out but after adding some cart variants I realized that the product->saleprice defaults back to the MSRP price and not the discounted price or the calculated price with the variants. I am running Joomla 2.5.16 and Virtuemart 2.0.24c and PHP 5.3.15. If someone could point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated.
