I have a 2 language site, assigned modules show fine in virtuemart except for the checkout page, once on checkout page all modules vanish. everything else is working fine except for the no modules in checkout.

joomla 2.5.16
virtuemart 2.0.24b

Or add a Joomla menu link to VM Shopping Cart and assign the modules to that. You can hide the menu item if you don't want to display it.
