in the past i've been unsing "JDTestimonials" but it seems that this is not further supported....
I'm searching for a Feedback/testimonial Module/Component wich can send an e-mail to the customer after x days of the purchase and ask for a feedback, wich then can be published on the webpage...
Is there something like this out there for VM2?

Jorgen , i think, it's not possible with this component. But yes, it's a nice idea to provide this for Virtuemart, but to do it corretly, this need to use a cron task.

Actually my component does exactly this...
you can set reminder/request edittable emails to be set after a certain interval, a certain number of repeats at a settable interval and a total number
There is complete tracking of these reminders etc

e.g. It can also be set up to send review reminder emails to the purchaser after a set period of time.
Old orders can be imported and the customer sent a fully configurable email asking if they would like to place a review.

GJC, I think my approach is to have a "testimonial" system allowing the customers to share their experience/satisfaction/quality products/service from the Site! A product review is a nice feature; however, I did not see in reading documentation how the actual reviews can be placed/displayed in various places such as outside of the products page...
Additionally, how does your extension handle multiple products purchased from a customer should they purchase 15 items...? Unsure if this extension could be modified or has options to only allow for a review of one particular order and be added to a file/db record that can be displayed as a module on a page or anywhere needed...

Of course if you need a component that includes a review module too with full solution and plenty of features the best one is GJC's review component

If you are serious about reviews then consider an "independent" reviews provider, such as Reevo (https://www.reevoo.com/), eKomi (http://www.ekomi.co.uk) or Feefo (http://www.feefo.com/web/en/).
Since the fake review campaigns in 2013 more consumers have become aware of how easy it is for reviews to be falsified. eg http://www.theguardian.com/money/2013/jan/26/fake-reviews-plague-consumer-websites
And the public is regularly advised of the "possible" presence of fake reviews on TripAdvisor.

there are different component views:
1. See all site reviews filtered and ranked by e.g. date/ rating / usefulness etc
2. See all reviews for a particular product displayed as above
in VM at the product detail all reviews for that product can be displayed as above
There is also a module incl. to display all or any reviews as above anywhere in the site

the customer receives only a single email per "order" ( can be resent etc) but then can, in their Account Management, review each product individually.

Any review/s can de displayed from the incl. module and it wouldn't take much to adapt it to "order" only review as opposed to "product" only. Just no one has asked before.
