Hi,
i have a virtuemart 2.0.14 on joomla 2.5.8

mail sent by virtuemart forms (order confirmation, user registration etc.) are rejected as spam.
i investigated and noticed that the "from" field is always empty ("to" field is correct)

mass mail from joomla works, so seems a virtuemart problem

i checked joomla main configuration: "mail from" is correct
mail field under virtuemart seller section is correct

what am i doing wrong?

any help is appreciated, thanks

Upgrade to VM2.0.18c which contains a fix for those shared servers that do not correctly read the from field. Test on a backup copy in a subdirectory on the same server first to check that it does fix your mail issue. We can't test it as we do not use servers with mailing problems.

Get it from http://dev.virtuemart.net/projects/virtuemart/files - use Joomla's extensions installer to install both components. You won't lose any product data, but as always, test the update on a backup copy in any case.
