Hello !!   

I couldn't find any information on how to automatically change the order status from pending to confirmed. I am selling digital products, therefore there is no need for me to approve the order.

Is there any possible way for this to be done automatically?

It is done by your payment plugin.

Hello,

I am using this plugin : SHIPMENT FOR VIRTUAL PRODUCTS and I am still not able to automatically change the order status.  The configuration seems to be correct.

As that is a paid for extension you need to ask the developers - although - surely you have a payment plugin?
Or do u give the software away?

Yes indeed, I do have a payment plugin, it's installed correctly.  I sell downloadable products with this plugin

so your saying your "SHIPMENT FOR VIRTUAL PRODUCTS" takes payments as well?
then contact the developer..

No, I am using SHIPMENT FOR VIRTUAL PRODUCTS to sell downloadable goods.  But I am using Alpha User Points and PayPal for payments.

As I said before, it is your payment plugin that sets the product status. So check the Alpha User Points and PayPal plugins.
