I want to categories products like this . this is the way i want to show in the left hand side.

Specials

Products by Price
Under $100
$100- $150
Above $150

Products by Occasion
Mothers Day
Congratulations
Father's Day
Birthday

I have Joomla 2.5 and latest version of Virtuemart 2.18

Can someone plese guide me how to achieve this sidebar like this?:

Any suggestions.. or any existing extensions even?

You can set the top level category.
