Hi dear Guys.
Now I'm going to temporarily add State for country Netherlands and Japan in virtuemart 2.0.14 version. So, I can not find the "Code 3" (alpha 3 code), I have found only "Code 2" (alpha 2 code) in google for States. If I add in virtuemart country stated list only "code 2", it will work fine without any problem? Ot I should to add two codes (code 2 and code 3)?

Just use the first 3 letters :)

So, if I use only 2 letters, it is ok? I can not find code 3

Hello,

Yes is ok ... for states usually we place the first two and the first three letters. You can leave it empty the one with the 3 :)

Hi Bytelord

So basicly the state codes are random abbreviations?

I though there was an official code (ISO 3166-2) behind it and was getting mad to solve it.
