Any suggestion that can I search products by price range without using 3rd party extension on Joomla 2.5 and virtuemart 2?
What I can think of is adding some types of query in the URL:
For Example: http://virtuemart.com/joomla_virtuemart/index.php/search?keyword=laptop&limitstart=0&option=com_virtuemart&view=category&low-price=500&high-price=1000
Do you have any suggestion by using this query method or others, please kindly let me know.

I think you have to right a module for that with some complex SQL queries also. I don't know other way this to get done. The core haven't any implementation for searches based on prices.
