Please try and get this fixed once and for all.
I'm having this issue using VM 2.0.10 and Joomla 2.5.6 :
The latest little twist that one of my clients has found ist that when he finally got all the stuff to show up in the right order on the frontend, he discovered that using the next/previous links leads to a totally different order. No consistency at all.
