Title: Custom Field Type not saving

I'm using Joomla 2.5.6 with Virtuemart 2.0.8e and I'm just trying to add a custom field to a product but everytime I hit save it doesn't save? I am just using sample data like trying to add a color to a ladder but not working?

Ive also have the same problem. I manage to save for parent product but when i try to add ekstra field to child it wont save.

Hi all, i have the same problem... Joomla version Version 1.7.0 and VM 2.0.8e. i was convinced it was something i was missing...

Hi,

I am seeing the same issue with the same setup. I can save custom fields for the parent item, but not the child.

I was hoping to be be able to to setup book listing with one parent item and then children for each type e.g. paperback, clothe cover, or audio book.

Hi, I have the same problem - can't save custom fields, no matter what type of field.
Joomla 2.5.8, VM 2.0.12f
Somebody please help!

This was happening to me also after I exported data and made some changes to it and imported it back. So, it appears to be related to the data.
