hi guys,
can shoppers post products into virtuemart OR is there any plugin available.
basically i am taking up a new project where the shoppers would want to post products and the administrators approve or disapprove of the post, and depending on that it shows up on the products list.
am new to VM 2 (actually virtuemart at all) and not sure the features... just moving away from presta ;)
if anyone has any info it would be really great if i could just get some guidance.
NOTE: sorry if i am posting this at the wrong place, its my first post on vm.

not shoppers exactly. but sellers OR vendors
.. so basically this site would be a catalog site with sellers registering and showcasing their products online.
is this something which VM 2 works well with
You are asking about multi-vendor - this is not yet enabled in VirtueMart 2 but will be at sometime in the future as the whole system is vendor based and a task force has been set up to look at it. http://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=90892.msg318236#msg318236
