Title: Changed currency not propagated to payment module
Post by: janneman on July 07, 2012, 10:16:53 AM
Hi,

I have a funny issue: I have a currency selection in my shop which works fine - when switching between euro and US$ all amounts are correctly converted.
However, when the customer confirms the order and goes to the paypal or (european) iDeal site for payment, the correct amount is forwarded but always as a euro amount!

Example: one product costs euro 20, when selecting US $ that is converted to say $ 26, in the catalog and also in the checkout module, but then at the paypal or iDeal site it is shown as euro 26 and that is the amount charged. So in this case the customer pays too much.

Any ideas where to search for this, how to fix it?

Thanks,  jan didden

Hello,

The developer of the payment iDeal must implement this trigger in his payment plugin:
plgVmgetPaymentCurrency

If you are using cciDEAL Platform to integrate iDEAL in Virtuemart 2.0, please make sure you are using the latest versions of the extension AND plugin. Otherwise contact us by creating a ticket on chillcreations.com. There are no known issues with our iDEAL solution and VM2.0 at the moment.

cciDEAL Platform is this extension:
