I just installed VM2 in my Joomla installation. I was drawn in by the product detail listing on the demo page:

However, I do not see where I can set this as a menu item type in joomla. Am I missing something, or is the demo account an earlier version of VM? My category listing comes out like this:
http://www.titletownfightclub.com/index.php/marketplace
i have tried the others, but none of them look like the demo account.
Any advice?

The demo is of the older version of VirtueMart with a heavily modified coommercial display. VirtueMart 2 output is easier to customise and style than previous versions for anyone with a little code/css experience, but something similar to that layout is already available from commercial template developers, eg http://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=102481.0
