we are testing the paypal payment processor on vm 2.0.6 and joomla 2.5.6. we use the sandbox and the process works until customer pays. then it triggers an email to customer, however, the payment order status i selected in the configuration tab is still displaying "waiting for payment" and not "payment received" as selected.
also what is very annoying is that the customer is not redirected to the eshop website. it was all working very well with vm 1.19 ;(
i searched the whole forum and did not find a solution....
please help! paypal is essential to the success of the eshop.

It's redirecting fine after Paypal payment.

I have not tried this but paypal itself has a redirection set up in it after a successful payment.
Just wondering if it can override the VM redirect?
I used to have a site that paypal could redirect to an exact page when the customer payed, or a new site in failed payment etc

The same here, same VM and J! version, testing with sandbox, everything is ok, but order status keeps saying "pending" and not "confirmed"
Please advise!
Also, I might add, the customer email kicks back the following message:
Your order status is Pending
The payment for order 29f1012 is pending state. Reason:The payment is pending because it was made to an email address that is not yet registered or confirmed.
Well, this has all the look of a bug.
Can any developer fix this?
