To make the story short, this client gave me a huuuuuge database to be uploaded to virtuemart, the whole thing is done in Excel 2007, is there a way or a module to import the database to the site?

If you did it, which module did you use?

I used CSVI to import about 6,000 products, http://www.csvimproved.com/
it can be a bit tedious but is effective.

I moved more than 3 000 products from csv. but it wasn't tedious at all. the thing is I found this service: www.file2cart.com and had everything done for me automatically. it was very quick and caused me no trouble.
