Hello everybody is there a way to publish a module ( eg. banner or advertisement ) on the cart page or the category page only ?

Possible there is no way other than manually adding the module on that page?

Try using metamod or Advanced Module Manager. http://extensions.joomla.org/search?q=metamod

As per Jenkinhill

If you find that the free metamod publishes a blank module in the position specified (by the meamod settings in joomla) when not on the cart page or the category page you will probably need to use metamodPro.

I was able to publish a module in my cart page. I created a new module and in MENU ASSIGNMENT at the bottom I left everything checked and selected ON ALL PAGES EXCEPT THOSE SELECTED. It worked.
