I have very, very great respect for your works, but what do you do? I will change url(../images/vmgeneral/backgrounds.png) but doesn´t work. I use startsite VM and I have modules on my startsite, now are they this modules on my cart-site too. Why? I don´t understand, what you want. Would you like that I change my job?
You should think about for how you do this work. For freelancer? NO. I thing for people where have no big money. Think simple please.

If you look on my startsite you see three pictures and after than Sonnennbrillen... and pictures. If you go to cart are Sonnenbrillen.. and pictures under the cart. Why? They articels are only for home-page on. And they is only, if I use vm-startsite as home.
try creating a "joomla menu link" to the cart
