Hi,
I am a newbie to virtuemart but I have pretty decent knowledge about Joomla and can also build Joomla templates from scratch.
Thing is, I have no idea how to integrate Virtuemart with a Custom Joomla Template.
This is what I have managed to do so far and mainly using the Joomla/Virtuemart admin backend. My home page has a slide show with a horizontal menu bar linked to Joomla articles.
On the left hand side of my page I have a verticle product listing (created from VM's product list module). On clicking on a category it should list all products in that category in the content area of the template and here is where I am stuck. I have no idea which module I assign to the content area to display all products in a category.
The only modules I see are:
1. best-seller
2. product-list
3. shopping cart
4. curriencies selector
5. manufacturers
6. search-in-shop
Shouldn't there be a product details module?
Any help would be sincerely appreciated.
