Have a site under development started with VM 1.7 Joomla. Had it looking fairly decent adding product but knew it needed upgrading and better now than after all the product has been added. Read many of the examples on how to upgrade to 2.0.6 and gave it a try. Everything went well except for the migration of the database. Examples showed a product list directory which I did not find and nothing was migrated. So I failed at the upgrade and am needing help with the site in hopefully recovering the data previously entered. The site is aliased on my server so host key alias has to be added to view. Anyone interested please contact me. I would like to share here what is done to recover and restore the site. Thanks!
