Title: How to add a language switch button
Post by: cleverbargain on May 03, 2012, 16:51:42 PM
Hello,

It's not clear from this manual http://dev.virtuemart.net/projects/virtuemart/wiki/VM2_Configuration_Menu how the Multilingual shop works?

Is it possible to have language buttons (flag images or text) at the Frontend that users can click to switch between languages?

thx

Yes, if you use Joomla 2.5.x and have your multilingual Joomla setup correct.

And make shure your primary language is set as default for the Joomla frontend, before you install VM2. (Otherwise your VM2 language tables might not correctly)
