There exist code sniplets to facilitate pre-selection of country settings which will ease the user experience. See below:

Yes, like this.

As I am not the programmer type and I think all stuff like this should be available in standard VM package for all, I have posted here as Feature Request, already pointing to the places where I found some ready codes which VM team could copy and paste on right place for next release...
