I hope this is a simple question but how do I setup tax so that it only applies a tax to a single US state? I actually have the rule setup but how do I make it function only IF the customer enters that state in their billing/shipping address?

I have the same issue and need to collect tax for one State only.
Surely if you have the tax set up in 2.0.6 version,
Then in the tax rule you would simply select country and then state?
Under 'taxes and Calculations Rules.'
Then this tax would only apply to that limited country and state?
* you then test to see if you have to add it to every category or none- Just start with one category and buy using that state and one outside
