Paypal not picking up shipping costs from the store

Today I'm tweaking the paypal and had a friend test it. The first major problem we encountered was that paypal doesn't automatically add on the shipping when they go to pay for it.

Also was sent a message by my site that says

Hello,

An Invalid PayPal Transaction requires your attention.

Paypal is your issue- I think - if you log into the paypal site and go to profiles - click on postage option and go right to the bottom of the account , just tick the option that says shipping is calculated by the ( store or some thing and then save at the moment paypal is trying to determine the shipping cost).  Then go back to your site and test by clicking a shipping cost.

when you get to the paypal site you should see it now added to the cost. This is not a virtuemart issue normally.

The email bounces back and looks funny because the invoice from paypal and the invoice from your store are not the same cost.  The payments can still go through because and ammount will show up in paypal and then you pay it but software is trying to tell you they don't match.  I hope this helps.

dude that info rocked
I knew it was a paypal thing and not virtuemart (cause I tried changing the stores paypal address to another and it worked there, but changing back to mine didn't!)
the weird thing is that my old live site though never had any issues like that, it worked like a charm with that option disabled  :-\
