Title: Virtuemart 3.0.10 integration with JComments 3.0.5
Post by: erikoraka on November 13, 2015, 11:17:11 AM
Hello,

I use Virtuemart 3.0.10 and I downloaded JComments 3.0.5 in order to use it to the product details pages..but it does not work.

Could you help me with integrating JComments 3x with Virtuemart 3x?

The Joomla version I use is 3.4.5

Thank you in advance!

Kind regards,

Eri  :)

Hello Patrick,

The Enable Joomla Plugin box under the Shop Settings of VM config is checked, if this is what you are saying..

Kind regards,

Eri

Hi,
I checked the Jcomment content plugin.
This test for article, view, state ... and only work for Joomla articles.

This mean, that a new content plugin is needed specific for VIrtuemart 2+, because you have many changes for Virtuemart.
If you really need this, i can do it and sold it for 10€ in my shop.
Greets,
Patrick

Fell free to give your code, if you have time or need this. I don't need it currently and is a little to long to do,test it and do support.

Hi,
You can try my fork here : https://github.com/studio42-fork/jcomments
I had to integrate it for a customer.
Some trigger are missing, but this are only needed when you delete a product, so the comment are removed. But you can manually remove the comments.
