Joomla 3.4.7 and VM 3.0.12
Site is multilanguage: estonian and russian. All categories and products i create get automatically assigned to estonian language (not needed but umm okay).

1) While clicking categories, it gives a warning category not found and then opens it.

2) Breadcrumbs show random paths, when in shop, sometimes old category names, long time ago deleted category names, sometimes the path doubles itself (show everything twice)
   - clicking most of these breacrumbs gives redirect loop error

3) Category images keep replacing themselves (by themselves!) with a certain image  i uploaded for demo purposes. I check something in the configuration and go to frondend to check - and bam! new image for another of those categories. One by one.

4) Some categories show products, some give "no results". Randomly.

5) Sometimes clicking on frontend featured product takes me to an error page "product not found" (sometimes every product, sometimes only a few do that).

6) Also - updating image of a product category wont reflect in frontend

Should i scrap all and restart or is there away to fix this horror?

(EDITED: Added point six)

The Joomla 3.4.7 update broke a lot of things. See here for example: http://forum.joomla.org/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=902921&start=30. However, my own J3.4.7/VM3.012 shop still works without problems so far. Perhaps your problems are related to an old php version on your server or the update messed up another extension. Do you get any error messages if you enable Joomla and/or VM Debug?
Checking for errors with 'Firebug' might also give you some hints.

you don't say if this is a new or upgraded site?

Try a re-install of VM.. try VM admin update tables etc

Thanks guys for the replys.

I will check out your advice after holidays - debug, cleaning tables and clean install.

This is in fact a new site from Energizethemes Captivashop quickstart package, i had problems from the start with it. The first one was a server issue (image upload not possible - EXIF not present - old php version on server). As a matter of fact maybe i should try VM reinstall and a different server, there are too many random problems present.

Thanks guys and a happy Christmas to you.

Better to never use quickstart packages.  Install Joomla. Install VM. Install template. Style to suit.
