Hi guys

My VirtueMart store is setting BASE PRICE automatically to £5.
When I add a value to COST PRICE it sums up with £5 from BASE PRICE. For instance, if I set COST PRICE to £7 the price shown on the website will be £12.
As my prices are set £0 on the frontend, the visitor has to select the quantity and price by choosing from the Custom Field.

Hello Cado

You should probably not use Overwrite final. You have £ 0.00 in the overwrite field.

And for security reasons you should upgrade your VM installation to at least 2.6.12. Latest version in 2.6 series is 2.6.14.

so you have selected "Disabled" ? not "Overwrite Final" as shown in your screenshots?

Yes, I changed to "Disabled", but it still is showing £5 in Base Price and Final Price.

yes it should unless you have some default (not filtered) tax or price rule set

what is it meant to "change" to?

I meant that I am unable to select the field and change it and it seems to be set £5 as default.

you can't set a base price -- u only set the final price and the base price is calculated from that with any tax , discount etc
