I am wondering if someone can help me, I have Virtuemart 2.0 installed and have show featured products disabled. However for some reason it is still showing all my products under categories on the main page. I have been searching for a lifetime trying to remove them but to no avail.

in your vmart configuration you have
"Show featured products"
"Show most recent products"
turn them off
